Your First Visit
Upon your first visit, Gizelle, our wonderful receptionist, will greet you at the door and help you fill out the paperwork. The paperwork can be found on this website that you can print and fill out ahead of time. The purpose of the first examination is to properly diagnose the condition brought in by the patient. Therefore, a thorough history and physical is taken by the doctor. The physical will include an examination of the musculoskeletal system as well as the nervous system.
This first visit is very important for an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan in your success with chiropractic care and will take 45 minutes.
Often, the doctor will order X-rays to be taken at the local hospital or a place of the patient’s preference. Diagnostic imaging can be vital in determining the prognosis of the spinal or extremity problem. Many people do not realize the extent of their condition until an x-ray reveals the underlying problem.
Your Second Visit
The second visit is when the doctor will review and educate you on the extent of your spinal / extremity problems by assessing your X-rays as well as come up with a treatment plan designed uniquely for you that will help achieve your goal of spinal health.
The second visit will be your first adjustment. We use a variety of techniques at our office to achieve your goal of optimal spinal health. We will always go over thoroughly every adjustment we are about to make to your body so you can be informed and stress free.
An adjustment will take 15 minutes.
